If you call that crap thats playing now punk, you are wrong. I believe the term now for it is Emo, but I could be wrong. I've also heard the term pop punk, but thats such a oxymoron. I've also heard garage bands, which is better.

No, emo is much worse then punk. but after grudge, there was actual "real" punk. Now yes, there is pop punk, but it is still not quite pop and not quite rock, and not quite "real" punk.

Garage bands in reality are 90% bad. There are reasons they play in garages and small venues. Most their fan base are people who don't want anyone else to like their kind of music so that they can be different. (same went for emo, but now it has become pretty mainstream).

When I mean garage bands are better, I meant as a term, not as in listening to.

ah i c, but yea garage bands could fall under a lot of categories, punk, metal, emo, grunge, ska. All of them could be "garage bands".

I hate discussing music philospy tho, because no matter how you say it some ones opinion differs. Almost as bad as discussing Star Wars.

yeah well Emo isn't that bad but pop punk can just fuck off its bands like Mcfly and Busted that are ruining the Rock Scene

Well I was in Europe in 2003 and have contacts in Europe and they're pretty much into Trance and sure airs a lot on German TV in Slovakia. Denmark and Holland sure love their trance in parties. France and Austria do also :) I'm not sayin I know all but thats what i've been told and came in contact with. They sure know how to party in Europe

Well then the trance you might of heard might of been the bad ones but try these good ones here:

www.digitallyimported.com (Also has Country music in there)

Germany sure loves their rock music (known as metal here)
