The 3 ISD's dropped right out of Hyperspace into the SSD it looks like to me: Image

Hmmm. Maybe I'm right after all.... I think I'm going to look it up just to be sure.

Edit: "During the mass exodus of Yavin to Hoth, Admiral Griff miscalculated his task force's hyperspace jump, bringing the three Destroyers out on top of the Executor. The angle and shielding was sufficient to protect the Super Star Destroyer, but the other three vessels were annihilated."

Got this from here: http://www.starwars.com/databank/starship/superstardestroyer/?id=eu

Still, Griff was in overall command. It was his fault.

Mh, just executed? I mean Vader executed people just for... being, or because he did not have anything better to do. I'm mean he would not have him executed. Perhaps shredded into little pieces or cooked in lava. I don't know but for such a "mistake" Vader would surely be more ... imaginative.

He did a humorous execution in one of the old comic stories. Can't remember the exact lines, but it went something like this:

Vader: - Captain, I believe you need to relax. Take a walk outside and calm your mind.

Blundering captain: - Yes. Yes, I need to take a walk outside and calm my mind.

*Walks stiffly out of the bridge*

*Moments later*

Controlroom monitor: - Lord Vader, someone has opened the outer airlock in section 2343 without authorization!!!

- Is that a problem?

*Sweating*

- No, my lord. There's no problem.

I'm not sure, are you thinking of the one with the Tarkin battlestation? (They should have that in this game as a hero-unit, it was an awesome design.)

I'm thinking of the one where Vader and Luke has an encounter and then the ships captain sees an opportunity to vent Vader out an airlock. Unfortunatly he fails as Vader is able to pull himself inside again and shut the door.

Actually, wasn't that on the prototype of a superweapon? Leia? (damn, forgot how to spell her name!!!) was able to set the weapon to target itself, or the building platform, (I dont remember). So after their airlock trick failed, they tried to fire on vaders ship as he persued Luke and company and blew themselves up?

It's possible there is such a story aswell, but I clearly remember this comic story where Vader and Luke is fighting, and then the captain of the ships sees his chance to get rid of the Dark Lord himself. :)

EDIT: Well, actually, I can't remember if they actually fought now that I remember, but Vader was atleast sensing Luke.

But I do remember the commander or whatever he was, on whatever it was, which definatly was in space, opening a airlock near Vader and Vader almost getting sucked out. :D

You all follow me so far.

It's too bad Luke didn't know how to force push very well then. All he would have had to do was *push* and then he gets rid of his father. Of course that would ruin the Star Wars universe because Luke would probably turn to the darkside in EP 6 without Vader there and his love for his father. In a way Vader kept Luke from the darkside by not letting him kill the Emperor.

I think Luke was fairly busy holding on himself. ;)

Not at the same spot, but alittle further up the corridor.

Going through the issues, a Major went through the airlock in SW #51, while the traitor tried to kill Vader in the next issue, on-board the Tarkin.

For those of you interested, here's what that superweapon looked like:

Speaking of which, how would someone get ahold of all of the starwars media that has been published? Comics, original (non whored out-meaning not screen adapted) books, etc.?
