Odd, but fun to see. Simply put, tell us what your favorite cartoon shows are (I don't care who you are, you know you have at least a few)! This is just for fun, so I don't think we can get in trouble for it. Yes, animes do count, unless someone wants to make another thread about favorite animes.

So, let's see it!

Here are mine:

Rocko's Modern Life

The Undergrads

The Simpsons

Mobile Suit GUNDAM (the first series: 1979)

COWBOY BEBOP

Umm, let's see:

-Looney Tunes

-The MASK (you knew that had to come, didn't you ?)

-Tom & Jerry

-Batman (the animated series and maybe the '...of the future' as well)

-Pinky & Brain

-Futurama

-Beavis and Butthead

I'm sure I might've forgotten some, but these are all I can think of for now.

Gundam? What's that??
Weell...Gundam..hmm... Yeah it's something like Power Rangers. Or Shogo. Some Anime guys in colored robot suits. I don't know. It's not very famous here.

I guess GUNDAM is a Japanese and American thing. I should have guessed that considering the DVDs only come in Japanese and English. I simply assumed it was famous everywhere since it's a BIG money maker. And, no, it's not at all like Power Rangers. Except for Mobile Fighter G GUNDAM and Double Zeta GUNDAM, it's actually a VERY serious show and, at times, can be depressing . . . making it AWESOME! I get tired of the useless, stupid, childish, immature that characterizes most anime [i.e. DragonBall, DragonBall Z, Dragon Ball GT, Rurroni Kimchin (sp?), Yu-Yu Hakusho, etc].

SOCL, if you like animes, you should try SF 2 Victory. It's really cool..
What is it about?

 I see. So it's one of those animes, that are enjoyable for more intelligent people too. In Hungary it was DBZ, that made a lot of money for the tv channels. Glad it was dropped, because it was found to be too violent for children. (Hungary buyed the series from France. They already cutted out the most violent scenes...) I don't like DBZ either. It's manipulating, and kind of dangerous to watch  But it was based on the great mythos of the MONKEY KING (a fantastic story written around 1500/1600 in China)

 Street Fighter II Victory. Have you seen Street Fighter: The Movie with Van Damme? ... FORGET IT! It was a big trash. This anime is really one of the best. Superb artwork, and great fight scenes (the fight scenes are well coreographed by martial art masters)! It's mostly about Ken and Ryu travelling around the World to search the best fighters. I didn't enjoy the SF games very much, but this anime is certainly great!

Getting interested?

By the way, has anyone seen the COWBOY BEBOP movie yet?! Oh, wait, that's right, it was in these forums that no one knew what COWBOY BEBOP was. . . .

Here's some pretty awesome GUNDAM and GUNDAM-related sites:

In random order:

    - Transformers
    - Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors
    - King of the Hill
    - Reboot
    - Batman, the Animated Series
    - Dexter's Laboratory
    - The Secret Squirrel Show

Then there's this scifi show in the style of Reboot, but I've forgotten its name... It's got different races battling together to save their worlds and it has these Rock people in it...

I've never seen X-Men: Evolution, but it sure looks nice... :D

Here you go, LaForge, here are a few links for COWBOY BEBOP sites:

The last one is, arguably, the best of the ones listed.

Never heard from King of the Hill :?

I used to watch Spiderman too! Wow, those old fashioned cartoons of the 80's :P:P:P

This Bebop anime has a very modern style. It's quite interesting :)

So Bebop is a fishing ship4 :D Wouldn't guess..

King of the Hill is sort of Simpsons-style... I mean, it's not actually the same style but I would classify it as such as opposed to action, scifi or anime...

Does anyone have any suggestion as to the name of the cartoon that I forgot?
