Sparky Posted October 12, 2005 Share Posted October 12, 2005 I'll join it i really don't care...the only thing i might be a little curious is how the tournament is run...mainly i assume if its 1 vs 1 and you go with a single elimination you will need either 16 or 32, your 24 won't work...after each round only half will move on, so it will go 24->12->6->3 how are you going to work that last 3? Having said that, there's plenty of time left until the demo, and even longer until the game release should the demo not be multiplayer compatable. More people should turn up by then. As for the tournament, due to timezones, we'll have slight difficulty arranging times when two people can do battle. At that point in time we'll have to be a little patient, because people will have commitments and need to sleep during the night. I wouldn't think we'd get many dropouts to be honest, but keeping accepting people until the people joining stops seems like a good idea to me. Then if anyone drops we just adapt the way the games are played rounds wise to be slightly smaller. We dont even know if observers will be allowed. And has there been any mention of a record feature? I can't see that as being practical for the galactic match. Maybe for skirmish though.
