Does IA2 plan on adding any indigeonous units?

Last time I checked the site, I couldn't find a list of flora/fauna/props/buildings being added anywhere...

Hello IA2 fans, followers, and forum goers,

 

First of all, we have experienced a slow down in work lately, but I want to let you all know, we are still working. We are going to get you a mod before the end of winter, for FoC, I promise you that. Now, I want you all to know something. We at IA2 have a very high standard, higher then many other mods. We don't just rush through units and try to get the mod out as quickly as possible. We are taking our time to make a high quality mod, not just some cheaply made one. These images below will reflect our standard, now I am pleased to present the new Invisible Hand.

Another unit that fans have been waiting for is the Pride of the Core. You voted, you wanted it, here it is.

 

 

 

Pride of the Core (hero) (following description straight from Republic Page)

Mandator-class Star Dreadnoughts are rarely glimpsed outside of Kuati holdings; indeed, few exist in actual service. They are primarily a fabrication of the Kuati propaganda department, seized upon and blown up to ridiculous proportions by the Republic to cow Separatist sympathizers. But the Pride of the Core, a Mandator-class Star Dreadnought, Mark II, is very real and very dangerous. Measuring eight kilometers from bow to stern, with a ponderously sized ventral reactor bulge bloating its already impressive mass, it is a terrifying sight and an even more terrifying enemy, once it brings all its mighty guns to bear. It is in the direct service of the Republic navy under Admiral Kohl Seerdon.

Now many fans complained that the old Venator did not look as good as the one in EaW. I want to tell you, EvilleJedi has created a awesome jaw-dropping model. This one is far superior to any model currently available, and this is another example of teh high work standards we hold.

 

 

 

Venator-class Star Destroyer (following description straight from Republic Page)

Following in the  Victory’s durasteel-clad footsteps is the Venator-class Star Destroyer. A multipurpose cruiser, the Venator’s primary function is as a starfighter carrier, although it can also easily be pressed into duties as an attack cruiser, a command ship, a troop carrier, or even a planet bombardier. Larger but less heavily armed and armored than its Victory-class cousin, the Venator has become a symbol of the Republic military and is intended to serve it for quite some time to come.

This shows what this game can do.And what this engine can handle.So now. Why Didn't petro did such things?

 

Mostly because petro had a deadline.

 

I like the lights detail on the coruscant prop and Venator; much more realistic! :)

Lucasarts motto: the more people can play, the more people who pay... ;D Uber-graphical games like Oblivion have an inherently smaller market than a less extravagant game because you weed out those with weak computers (essentially fringe gamers).

It's really a stupid philosofy.

Nowdays nearly everyone has a decent Pc with good statisitics.

I am more in line with the oblivion way of deal.

If no good steps are made towards improvements we will stay always at the same point.

I hope to see an EAW II with the motto : "You want to play?Go and upgrade your machine.We can't stop because a stupid nood has a Punic Wars time computer!"

This is ironically one of Microsoft's strong points. They never rush their games...ever...of course they can easily afford losses on a game, but hey, that's an advantage they have. ;D
