Hey all,

 

It is with great pride that I announce Star Wars: Imperial Assault 2: Rise of the Empire. From the people who brought you the popular Star Wars: Imperial Assault for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour, comes this exciting new mod for Empire at War that will bring the Clone Wars to the game. We are very excited about our project and hope you share this joy with us.

 

Currently we are still in the early process of the mod. Right now we are working hard to get our website fully operational. Expect to have public forums in the next couple of weeks as well. But we do want to stress that since the game isnt even released yet we wont be having weekly updates or anything frequent like that. But we will be working hard on this project as well as making IA1 better. So be sure to check that out as well. I look forward to seeing you all on IA2.

Oh and on a side note, I have a message from IA contributer MaP to some former IA staff members:

 

They are not issued with any kind of permission to use the models I've provided Bryant with in any way shape or form. If they do then they will be in breach of intellectual copyright and there will be concequences.

 

Yep. So spread the word about IA2. It is going to be one hell of a mod.

I really look forward to your mod! It's on the top of my mod wish list. So far things look fantastic. Good luck getting everything together.

For IA1, you need to have Zero Hour(expansion) and have it fully patched.

 

And on a side note, look for some IA2 news soon. We suffered a minor setback with a server switch gone astray, but we shall have some news soon enough.

sweet nice mod. Except one of them transport ships sounds like a helicopter and the AT-ST and crawler sound like a chinese tank devision, Hope this patch I just installed for it fixes that :roll: nice at-at :roll:

 

AI wont attack me and the game crashed on me :shock: I'm reinstalling this expansion pack and then the mod then the patch. Damn.

Click the linked word that says "Website" then in the link backspace the "rotj" part of the link. Thats easier for me since I dont have the link.

 

I'll try and get the mod working on my comp since its being extremely picky with. Rebels wont even move :shock:

 

 

Btw modders is there something i'm missing ?

-I installed the Expansion

-Then the patch

-then the IAv080

-then IAv082_patch

 

then Rebels dont attack and AT-ATs take 5 minutes to appear and are purple when coming in.

I come here to post stuff about our screenshot blitz, and theres allready a topic. anywho heres the stuff

 

Imperial Assault 2 has been very busy preparing some amazing renders and enhancements over the last several weeks. I won’t tell you what all of them are, but over the next week we will unveil a few things each day. So let’s begin the Imperial Assault 2 screenshot blitz. I would also like to point out that the colors on the ships will most likely be the housecolors, they are only red and blue for the renders.

 

 

The Jedi needed a way to police the galaxy and be safe from enemy threats, enter the Delta 7 Jedi Starfighter. Designed by Kuat Systems Engineering this ship was fairly fast and could hold its own against enemy fighters. Unfortuantly it needed a hyperdrive ring in order to go faster then light, and if it was destroyed the fighter was stranded.

After the Clone Wars started, the Jedi realized they needed a faster, more powerful starfighter to deal with the Separatist. They contracted Kuat Systems Engineering to build a successor to the vastly popular Delta 7 series. The result was the ETA 2 Jedi Starfighter. With its s-foils it allowed for superior maneuverability and was more heavily armed then the Delta 7. Like most small fighters of its time it did not have a hyperdrive, so Kuat reworked the hyperdrive ring to make it faster then before. The ETA was born

I don't like the look of that venator much. But chances are (IMO) that it will already be in the game so you will only have to re-colour it.

Maybe the spherical centre is a little small, but then again it's not all too apparent. If I wasn't lazy I'd go and look up a reference pic to have a look to see if that's what it is, but I repeat: lazy.

We are looking into this, many people have said it looks weird, for one thing it doesnt have turrets atm, we dont know how EaW will incorperate side turrets like that. Also there are no attena or radar, cause it isnt a droid control ship, and finally it is sporting the CIS blue seen in Ep3
