SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted April 22, 2003 SWR Staff - Executive Posted April 22, 2003 Probably because there is a font color that I need to change in the template. I'm sure you all know how to use BOLD and italics and such.. but if you seriously want these tips displayed, I'll have to find time and edit the board a bit. Guest JediIgor Posted April 23, 2003 Posted April 23, 2003 Tips? What tips? You guys talking about the font color black feature?
Trejiuvanat Posted April 23, 2003 Posted April 23, 2003 When you're replying just highlight under where it says: Font colour, you'll see some tips for the forums there. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
ElvisMiggell Posted April 23, 2003 Posted April 23, 2003 I think its all fairly self explanatory. We could probably do without them if it saves space or whatever. I'm not fussed. Elvismiggell. Guest Scathane Posted April 23, 2003 Posted April 23, 2003 Applause... We have succeeded in killing a topic that was meant humorously. And we've done it by staying on topic. Maybe somebody could do the same for the forum topic called Us.
SOCL Posted April 24, 2003 Posted April 24, 2003 Applause... We have succeeded in killing a topic that was meant humorously. And we've done it by staying on topic. YIPEE! The first sign of things to come! Maybe somebody could do the same for the forum topic called Us. You want the thread "Us" to die? Guest Scathane Posted April 24, 2003 Posted April 24, 2003 I don't want to see any topic killed! I usually stop following a topic when I don't like it anymore or when I've lost interest. It seems though that Site Admin has issued a new incentives to get all those users who bever posts back into the forum: we stay on-topic.
ElvisMiggell Posted April 24, 2003 Posted April 24, 2003 Topics only last for so long. Start a new one when it starts to die. Let it go man, and then start a new thread about something else. Sure some threads last longer than other, but really you can't expect them to last for anything over a month at the most. Particularly one that starts as a closed joke, unless we make this into the joke thread.... Elvismiggell. Strike me down and i will become more powerful than you can ever imagine... SOCL Posted April 27, 2003 Posted April 27, 2003 unless we make this into the joke thread.... Interesting idea. I did make a spin-off thread to this one called "What the hel--heck?" It goes along the lines of weird things found at this site. SOCL: Putting the BE in BEAK.Read the Forum Rules - Welcome the New Members - Rebellion Reloaded -
Guest Scathane Posted April 27, 2003 Posted April 27, 2003 Exactly. You're both right. Topics only last for so long. That's exactly why I wouldn't want to kill one off. If people aren't interested in responding, then it will die by ityself. On the other hand, I neither am someone who keeps posting to try and keep a thread alive, ElvisMiggell. I just answer to posts I like, as do we all, I am sure. And I never said, promises, wrote, shouted, signlanguaged or asserted in any other way or form that I expect topics to last for a month. Furthermore, whereas you see this topic as one that starts as a closed joke, ElvisMiggell, I personally prefer to see it as a topic that points out something interesting about this website or use thereof, be it that it is brought in a humorous tone of voice. Apart from that I don't quite see what it is that I should let go... With regard to SOCL's spin-off: that actually asserts the concept of this being an alive forum! That's the beautiful thing about it! We have topics with spin-offs!
Trejiuvanat Posted April 28, 2003 Posted April 28, 2003 What's the next spin-off gonna be? http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
SOCL Posted May 6, 2003 Posted May 6, 2003 What's the next spin-off gonna be?I'm not quite sure. I suppose either I or Scath will have to find a topic to make such. SOCL: Putting the BE in BEAK.Read the Forum Rules - Welcome the New Members - Rebellion Reloaded -
Guest Scathane Posted May 6, 2003 Posted May 6, 2003 What's the next spin-off gonna be? We could do it differently this time... and make a spin-on...

Guest Scathane Posted May 7, 2003 Posted May 7, 2003 Well, if a spin-off is a forum topic that originates from another topic, then obviously a spin-on is a topic that originates to another topic... Am I still making sense?
Trejiuvanat Posted May 7, 2003 Posted May 7, 2003 Don't know if you're making sense, but again things that make sense wasn't a requisite for joining this page. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif

Guest Scathane Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 Oh well, I wasn't going to tell you this, but Trej isn't really the Chief Holographer for Hutt Illustrated. He did make some media appearences, though... He was in fact a stunt double for a Gamorrean guard in RotJ.
the_mask Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 *Sigh* Here we go again : http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
Trejiuvanat Posted May 8, 2003 Posted May 8, 2003 It was unavoidable... I am the main holographer, I even had some pics for the next editions, but apperently Scath insisted on doing an editions called: Only Fur!, with Wookiees in sexy poses. I don't know who the stunt double for the Gamorrean may have been (cough....wormie....cough), but I know who worked closely with Mon Mothma: Scathane and Andy. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
