There have been some reports about missing ships which wreckages have been found somewhere on their routes. They have been attacked. By whom? Maybe some pirates. But those damages on these ships must have been the result of very powerful weapons. It maybe came from hyperspace and crossed the route of the star destroyer. They tried it again. Than a green beam appeared from the unknown cubic ship. "They are scanning us" The beam was scanning the whole ship, especially the powerful hyperdrive. Prepare for assimilation." Than finally they answered the call of that foreign vessel: "Deactivate your weapons and lower your shields. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile!" The star destroyer begins to fire its Turbo-Lasers against the Borg Cube. The first shots did some good damage on its hull, but the next following shots have been completely absorbed by its shields. Than it took a couple of minutes where nothing else happened. In winter times, I often watch sci-fi stuff, lot of ST and SW, somehow it fits the season. As for the ships...they are doomed. And gravity well technology falls into their hands, making it that much harder for the ST guys to do anything against them. Hehe. His mishappen head, lidless eyes and twisted, hunched back distanced him even further from what the Masters had wanted. It was obvious from the get-go that Exedore Formo would never be a warrior. Eagle Posted December 6, 2007 Author Share Posted December 6, 2007 I don´t wanted to start any kind of competition between SW and ST. I know that SW is our all favourite. It´s just that I love the Borg, like Rob does ("First Contact" belongs to my fav SciFi-movies ever). And like the title just says, what if the Borg would be present in the SW universe? What would happen? Is a SD able to face against a Borg Cube? Do Blasters kill drones? Could they be stopped by anything in that universe? I´m not sure what one or more Jedis or Siths can do against a horde of Borg drones. Not much more than against a droid army IMO. Who cares at all?! Against the Vong the Borg would be in for one hell of a fight, considering I don't think they could assimilate any of their ships, and since the Dovin Basals are all biological in their technology... It would be interesting to say the least. I'm tempted to say that one super-basal, like the one that killed Chewbacca, would be enough to create a large enough black hole to, at the very least, heavily damage to Borg Cube. The borg have no problem assimilating flesh, so pop a few nano probes into one part of a vong ship and presto! you've got a ship, and shortly there after a crew, freshly turned Borg. Eventually, they would just meld together. Replicators could overcome the Cube, while the Borg could continue to destroy the replicas...long ridiculous fight with no forseeable victor.
