Dead Rising.. killing zombies. It's not bad for the first few hours, then you realize the entire game is killing zombies with whatever you can find. I much prefer mosters that don't just walk around slowly toward you. Doom anyone?

Talking about Zombies, I liked Heretic 2 very much. It had a dark atmosphere, creepy sounds and also nice graphics. :)
Who cares at all?!

Have any of you played the remake of the first Resident Evil game on the Gamecube? It has really good graphics and atmosphere. It's probably the best zombie game I've played.

I dunno if its fun or not, seeing how I never played it, but I have made it a point in my life to never pay a monthly subscription to game online. I never played a MMORPG online, and I sure as heck am not going to pay to play a console game online.

The Wii's online capabilities were proven with Mario Strikers. It was free and extremely easy to connect with other players. Super Smash Brothers is coming out in December, and will allow a 4-player online gameplay, and when the Wii version of Super Mario Kart hits the console, it will boast 16-player online races.

All Im saying is that a console should not charge you to play their games online. You pay a several hundred dollars for the system, controllers, games, and accessories, and then the X-Box expects me to fork over even more cash on a monthly basis just to play it? Nuts to that.

Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side!

I once fell into the hole of paying monthly to play a stupid game.......... damn everquest... anyways.. I think the general idea of a game being overrated is easily justified through the public reception and reaction of such game... i mean.. damn... Halo was to be just some game released by Microsoft (and Bungie) to help shuttle the release of the XBox and now its become some EPIC creature of which fans are "disappointed" because "there are many loose ends to tie up" in the third installment... its a game.. when has anyone said "man I hope Warcraft 3 really clears up some things.. there are too many loose ends".. plus a movie is being created about this game and Red vs. Blue is still going on! (it was only supposed to be 2 seasons!..) i think this is all evidence that Halo is too overrated... but thats me...

Sadly when many games are overrated... Many games are underated such as Rebellion which is a pity.

I agree. My brother constantly criticizes me for playing Rebellion. According to him I should be playing "better games" such as World of Warcraft, and stop wasting my time. In fact, the other day he saw me visiting this website and was astonished that so many people play this game.

Some people just don't understand.

Yeah, I know. WoW is pretty much his life. That's about all he does.

Soooo.... A few days ago I finally got a copy of Dark Crusade, the expansion pack for Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War.

Let's you play across a campaign map, buy units to enter the battle map with, all kinds of things. Really cool. I wasnt able to buy it when it came out a year ago as I lacked a computer with a DVD drive to play the thing.

I must say... I love playing as the Tau. The tactics best suited for them fit my play style perfectly.

I'm now seriously considering buying some of the models.

That was me.. with EQ.. i.e. EverQuest... that game sucked so much out of my life it was crazy.. i would play for close to 18 hours at a time... yea.. my weekends were filled with sitting at my computer not going anywhere or talking to anyone that wasnt virtual... i used to know people who were worse too.. WoW is just an extension of that.. its just a "wanna be"... but i can understand how some people find that more interesting than life.. hell.. i used to... but there is hope.. that eventually they will wake up.. and perhaps the whole genre of MMORPG will fade... all my real life friends i still had started making fun of me and it somehow snapped me out of it...

... As I've said before, the RTS has been known to crank out a lot of my free time. I have to wait until I've done everything else that needs doing, else my thought process becomes, "Oh, I only need three hours to do that... Oh, I only need two and a half hours to do that... Oh, I only need an hour to do that... I can do it tomorrow... I only need two hours of sleep a night..."
