Jahled Posted November 13, 2007 Share Posted November 13, 2007 I´ve checked all the options, gimp has to offer, but I haven´t found anything like that "image ready"-addon. The only way I can optimize a pic so far is to reduce it´s quality when saving the pic from .jpg or .bmp to .gif. Ah, I detect where you may be comming from. I use Adobe Photoshop, with which comes Image Ready, which pre-CS2 versions was the Adobe tool to make animations. I´ve found an addon for gimp which enables to also install addons of photoshop, but I haven´t found out how it works up till now. Who cares at all?! I got a promotion of sorts at work, after giving the IT department some advice concerning some software to use for building an image library to generate money I used at Bigpictures years ago, after their own attempts to build one backfired. I'm the new 'gatekeeper' in charge of uploading new images and most importantly, meter-tagging it with relevant data. It's all up in the air at the moment, but should calm down just after Christmas.
