You think you know a lot... The 'nordic god' as you call it is neither nordic nor god: the deity in question is Celtic and female. Moreover, I haven't deformed anything and most certainly not from Skadi to Scathane: the stem I took was Scathach, not Skadi.

Back to the original point to this thread (not to say anything bad about what is being spoken of at this moment): I voted for the STAR WARS galaxy simply because this one seems rather dull considering we still can't leave the planet and go live on another (even though I have yet to see most of the world). I also have this bad feeling that this planet may truly be the only teeming with life in our galaxy and we may be living in a dud galaxy (a point addressed in a STAR WARS story of mine where explorers 100+ years after ANH come into contact with Earth . . . maybe I'll post it).

You shouldn't apologize. Why do you think our planet would be the only one that can support life? Taking into account the sheer vastnes sof the universe, the chances are infinitely low that we're the only intelligenst species in this universe...

Well, I never actually said I believed we were the only planet in our galaxy with life, I simply said (or at least meant to do so or imply so) that I dread we may be the only ones. I actually do believe there is other life in the galaxy . . . but my question is: where?
