Defender_16 Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 Went to see 'Man of the Year' on Tuesday. Thought it was a good movie. I bought my default stuff since it still wasnt cold enough to wear the larger coat to let me bring my own candy. Bottle of Coke Box of Reece's Pieces Pack of Twizlers
Darth_Rob Posted October 22, 2006 Author Posted October 22, 2006 Man of the Year was not what I expected. The first half is what I thought it would be...comedian runs for President. Then the last half turns into his crazy drama with a corrupt corporation trying to kill one of it's employees. Nutso. Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side! Mitth_raw_nuruodo Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 Aside from the Original Star Wars Trilogy, the Indiana Jones movies were good. The Game gets a score of 11 on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best. The Final Destination trilogy is very good, IMO. Then there's always the Bond movies, most Morgan Freeman movies, w/ the exception of Sum of all Fears (none of the movies based off of Clancy's books are worth watching if you've read the book), the vast majority of Connery's films, and the Matrix trilogy. Need I continue? Chaos, Panic, Disorder, Destruction.....My work here is done. Grand AKmiralCommander-in-Chief of BEAK Forces(CINCBEAK) BEAK Imperium"To BEAK is Divine!"
Darth_Rob Posted October 23, 2006 Author Posted October 23, 2006 I just saw The Prestige over the weekend. This is one movie that HAS to be seen in theatre. VERY VERY GOOD FILM!!!!!!! Mad78 Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 The first Matrix was good then they just got worse as they were released. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance

Mad78 Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 For the third i got the impression it was the Clone Wars ending with a different setting and stretched over two hours. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance

Mad78 Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 It was just about entirely made in CGI. Darth_Rob Posted October 24, 2006 Author Posted October 24, 2006 I didn't want to see the new one since I like the old trilogy so much. But I suppose now that it's on DVD I will check it out eventually. Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side! A must see for everyone I thought that movie was hilarious... not as much a comedy as i thought it would be though.. but it was still funny. "Duct tape is like the force. SOCL Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Shaun of the Dead is fantastic. I am looking forward to seeing the new Jimmy Bond movie, Casino Royale. Something about this new Bond that I prefer over the others. Perhaps it's because he reminds me of Kevin McKidd, the fellow who played Lucius Vorenus in HBO/BBC's ROME. Did anyone see Miami Vice over the summer? I wanted to, but never got the chance. And how about that new Brad Pitt movie? Seems Syriana-like.
