The_Dane
My best advice would be for you to make an extra copy of the Rebellion-cd you do have. I for one wouldn't risk having to get a new copy from a "dodgy" source, it just doesn't feel right. Making an extra copy, for your own use, is at least legal here in Denmark. budious
Just forward those mails to me Jahled, I'll inform them of the legalities of such behavior and help them locate a retailer with a copy for purchase. budious at gmail dot com "In the future it will become easier for old negatives to become lost and be 'replaced' by new altered negatives. andybp85
but i just found my Rebellion CD after like 5 years of not playing and would love to start up again, but the CD is scratched. it's a completely legit CD-ROM, serial 8511830 under the CD-digital audio logo (which is weird...)(at least i assume that's the serial). i copied the files off the CD to my hard disk and i only got errors on like 4 files so if I can get those files i can just make an .iso and mount it and I'm set! if this is legal and anyone would be willing to help me out, shoot me an email at andybp85[AT]gmail.com and I'll tell ya what files i need and how to get them. Thanks so much in advance, and i look forward to being a part of this community

Adm_Ace
If you can get the CD to read, use Alcohol 120% to make a copy of it on your Hard Drive and then install from that. Worked for me. The computer couldn't read the disk to play it, but could read it to extract the data.
CDL_Undertaker
Just a thought: Has anyone tried emailing or calling Customer Service about this? I remember having my computer wreck a Wing Commander: Kilrathi Saga CD. I emailed Customer Service, and the representative asked me to return the damaged cd. I expected only the damaged CD (Disc 1, which includes Wing I, II, and the installation info for III), but I recieved a new copy of all five discs. I admit this may be a bit late in the going to expect fresh copies of Rebellion from Customer Service, but it never hurts to ask.
budious
Now I know that there was a CD left laying around here somewhere... SWR Staff - Executive Stratus Posted May 1, 2020 SWR Staff - Executive Share Posted May 1, 2020 You can now buy the game for $5.99 from Steam or GOG (DRM-free on GOG) and it will most likely be more compatible with your computer without having to run a VM or anything like that. Get the game from GOG here - https://www.gog.com/game/star_wars_rebellion Get the game from Steam here - https://store.steampowered.com/app/441550/STAR_WARS_Rebellion/
