Alright, I'm getting ready for my first foray into Rebellion, multiplayer style. What are the basic changes to gameplay?

And my second question: what are some basic strategies for the Alliance? (I already saw the Empire post)

Thanks

Empire controls the core, you best tactic is destabilze their garrisoned planets. Hit them hard early before your opponent can position his key characters and defense units.

Hmm... that's the same as against the computer. Can the Alliance pull off an early attack, taking an entire sector by bombarding one or two systems, and then hold it (as they could against the AI)?

Also, what's the basic etiquette involving the game speed?
