Got that off of the official Lucas Arts homepage. Has anyone ever tried actually writing a letter, or are we all just going for E-mail?

Sorry to post twice in a row, but check this link out: http://www.lucasarts.com/jobs/descriptions/?ID=marketing_pmm

One of us can get in close to Lucasarts and steal the sourcecodes while nobody's looking! :D

See also this: "contact Lucas’ Canadian County office at (405) 373-1958."

Forget all this talk of approaching lucasarts; it never has and never will get anywhere. They are more interested in milking us for every cent they can from every commercial medium they can, such as bendy bits of plastic from thirty costume changes.

A simpler option: Someone reverse engine the game in the 'shadows and secrecy,' of their own home, and let someone like me know when they've got it. Wheels can then be set in motion to get this beast of a game in full swing... :)

Anyone know what language the game was programmed in? baby steps people, baby steps...

I was wondering, do we even have an online petition set up? That would be a step in the right direction.

You could either sign online, or have a printable version with the address to send it to with snail mail.

Perhaps even include a 'Han Solo Shoots First' printable petition as well?

I know, a little off topic.

If we want the source code Jahled's solution is the only way to go. LucasArts simply won't give it away. Imagine us extending the life of a game that is better than EaW, resulting in lost sales to LucasArts.

History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.

Just answer my very simple question, and perhaps I can do something.

What language is this game programmed in?

Don't be too sure- you can still do prison time for an offensive enough crime, like, say, murder. Or pissing George Lucas off, him having billions of dollars from his two crappy movies and a number of crappy, over-priced games.
