Guest Scathane Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Without getting too imature, I think Leia was using the lightsabers for a little more than just Jedi-stuff, if you know what I mean.... That's probably why she needed a new one to fight this weeks new villian. Aren't you confusing them with vibroblades for this particular purpose?

Aenivae_Ikeda Posted April 3, 2005 Author Posted April 3, 2005 Heh, lightsabers burning out... I can see it now... Darth Vadar: Impressive... Most impressive.(Luke drops from the hose, and sprays Vadar, and pull his lightsaber to him. As he turns it on to block vadar, there is a sputtering noise like a car engine and Luke's saber turns off, thus resulting in the severing of his upper torso from the rest of his body.) Aenivae_Ikeda Posted April 5, 2005 Author Posted April 5, 2005 Indeed, or a mastercard commercial... Coresca Gem: 5 billion credits...X-wing Starfighter: 3 billion credits...Lightsaber battery: 500 credits...Training with master Yoda: 8 billion credits...Knowing that your lightsaber isn't going to burn out: Priceless... Thats a really shitty commercial now that I think of it, but I'm sure mastercard could pull it off differently... SOCL Posted April 6, 2005 Posted April 6, 2005 Actually, knowing American commericalism (which I don't), this doesn't sound so far-out as you might think. Actually, they would be perfect ideas with ROTS coming out (just like they did when the OT Special Edition came out in `97)...play off the hipe, gain the favor of a few Star Wars geeks, make more money. It's the American way. SOCL: Putting the BE in BEAK.Read the Forum Rules - Welcome the New Members - Rebellion Reloaded -
