Well i started playing on an Alliance and it was about the 700 day when my loosing stopped.

Everything started with Leia been captured... I sent whole of my fleet and then Luke(returned from dagoba) to rescue his siter. Suddenly for me he was captured by Dart Vader. The message was something liek that:Luke was captured and he found out that Vader is his father ,Vader is going ot take him ot the emperor.

I sent a squad of 5 people (Han , Chewie and others to rescue Luke but htey foiled.

Next message: Luke was brought to the Emperor and he won the battle and Captured The Emperor and Dart Vader... He is returning home. After that i build up a great fleet and captured Coruscant... but what was funny that Luke found force in Siub Snub(Sullustan)

P.S. You can tell you stories of first defeats or victories.

All I remember when I was playing the first time is also seeing the Imperial winning movie (with the SSD) for the first time.

I was Rebel.

I remeber my first time. I was Imp, and I started the game without paying much attention to the manual. I didn't speak that much english at the time and didn't want to get a dictionary.

Anyway I started fine, through diplomacy I won many planets I soon began to build fleet and colonize the core.

SOmewhere in teh process I built a death star, then came the stupid maintenance shortfalls. I did not pay much attention to mines nor refineries nor maintenace points.

First my troops were destroyed and I lost plaents with little popular support, then I lost fleets, and all the surviving ship I packed up in one huge fleet, the Glory.

Then the Rebels took Coruscant. I retook it but lost it again. I used to glory to ambush a reb fleet at chandrila. Sadly It was me who was ambushed, and lost the fleet, together with the whole Sesswenna sector.

The SSD I had built was attacked by a cc-7700, two escort carriers and lots of vermin b-wings. Bye Bye SSD.

Soon my personnel turneed traitor and I sent them on mission to be captured or killed.

Palpy and Vader I sent ot the Mantessa system, my only true stronghold in the Rim, the place where I had built the death star.

Somehow I had located teh Reb Hq, and sent there the DS. Upon arrival the DS was destroyed. Maintenance Shortfall. :x

Without troops nor ships nor construction yards there was little I could do.

Eventually the Rebs captured the planet.

My first real memory of Supremacy was my friend telling me about this amazing new game he'd gotten, where you could play as the REebels or the Empire. You could build SSDs and the DS. I went to his house, he sat and played, i sat and watched. For five hours. But i didn't have a pc.

About two years later, we had a pc, my family went on holiday and i had the house to myself. I borrowed the game from my friend and spent something like 144 hourse on it, only stopping to get food.

Then i got a copy of the game about a year ago, when i got my pc. I've since played it so much that i had to get two more copies, the others got worn out.

I've been playing Rebellion since the game came out, always as the Imperials of course. Reb Ed gave me the ability to make cards and add myself, first as a Grand Moff and later as the Emperor, to the game. I play almost every day and never get tired of the game. Where else can you rule the Star Wars Galaxy as the Empire. I'm just glad there is this site for other fans of the game. - Grand Moff Conway

Sounds like time to send out probe droids, and lots of them! All those systems in the Rim that show up as "white crosses" are where the Rebs are hiding. Be careful when you send a fleet in...they could have a pretty nice fleet hiding there.

The Outer Rim is different than the Core. Even if you have visited a system and it was neutral, after you leave the Rebs can take it over but you won't be notified. You have to keep sending recon missions to those systems to make sure the Rebs haven't taken over. Either that or make tons of Assault Transports and send one to every system in the Rim 8O:!:

I was bored one time and actually blockaded every neutral system in five or six sectors...looking for the Reb HQ. I don't suggest this method, as insanity took over.

Yes the A1 does leave a little bit to be desired; for some ideas on how to increase the difficulty check out that topic in the General Discussion area of this forum. Grand Moff Conway

How did you manage that without popular support falling to zilch?
