Mad78
just one thing I forgot to mention at one point it was mentionned that the federation could simply teleport a nuke in to the isd. I think I once heard that shields could block teleportations. Is that true? Could somebody answer because I would like to know. (even if it would be more fairplay of the federation to agree about their inferiority and what to be destroyed ) http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Cain
Yes the shilds can obstrucat a teleportation But if you know the wave lenght of the shilds or if the shilds fluctuate you could manage to send in a small nuke-bomb - The Trivium Organization - Community Manager -- Petroglyph Fan Forums - CoAdmin & Human Resources Manager -

ElvisMiggell
Me three, me three!!! Seems to me it alsodepends who you've got in charge of a ship... i mean, the Emperor would have no compunctions about destrtroying the Enterprise in a giant foce grip.... Guest Scathane
I wonder how Star Trek crews would react when the would encounter the force? After all, you would have to admit that they seem more clever than Star Wars folk who usually resort to either the force, a lightsaber, a blaster or any possible combination of the three. Mad78
i would like to know: is there a precise weak point on the galaxy shipsa bit like the shield domes on the isds http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
ElvisMiggell
Well... i'd say their engines personally. Or the reactor. Both are quite exposed, you'd just have to punch though the shields. Elvismiggell. Mad78
good point but I was wondering: what do you think would be both crews reaction if they suddenly encountered each other I would like to know what everyone thinks about this http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
ElvisMiggell
It depends.... I doubt Enterprise would fire unless fired on... so it's gonna come down to who's in charge of whichever star wars ship you chose. Elvismiggell. Mad78
what do you think the imperials would do? Lord_La_forge
The Trekkers would probably reconfigure the sub-post-anti-matter-plasma-relay injuctor to work as a depolarised alpha-quantum-ecto-ray disruptor. ElvisMiggell
Oh but of course!!! Stellar_Magic
The krill killing thing, the dumb trekkies have it, its called a "buzzard collector". I've always wondered why they didn't call the EPS what it really is, an electrical outlet. Dumb trekkies and their insane names for everyday things... "Ready the Turbolasers. Fire at will."- Star Wars "Arm Photon Tubes, attack pattern gamma five, Fire torpedoes, target their weapons array, fire phasers...."- Star Trek I think Star Wars is easier to understand, half the time its just "FIRE!!!" AdmiralFishface
It doesn't matter what kind of fancy-named techniques Trek characters come up with to miraculously solve the unsolvable problem at hand, in the end it turns out to be a blue beam emitted from the deflector dish. All the consoles on the Enterprise bridge and all they would nees were three big red buttons:Hail the guy who is just shooting our ship to piecesFire some fancy blue beam from deflector (used only when episode has special effects money)Fire all we got (used only when episode has really quite a lot of special effects money) Ah, yes, and Earl Grey, hot. Obviously. All the rest, you can figure out yourself too... No that's where you are both scientifically and Trekley completely wrong sir!  A Federation Starship captain would never give the order to reconfigure the subpost anti matter plasma relay injuctor in order to boost a depolarised alpha quantum ecto ray disrupter! That may have happened in episode six of season three of 'Voyeger; we're so bored we're on the verge of warping into a Pulsar,' but it clearly has no more reality than the wine the writer of this particular episode was drinking prior to scripting this absolutely absurd piece of Star Trek farce...  He might have given the order under the following conditions: (as quantified by the Star Trek Collective) -That Spock, or a similar female Vulcan had turned from a console and raised an exceedingly large eyebrow... -That Bones; or a mature, but still statuesque Medical-officer, present on the bridge said: 'I think it's ok Jim!' -Or Scottie; or an even wierder engineering-type officer with a plastic nose, announces through a transmitter; though everyone on the spaceship can hear; that 'The maneuver should be ok, as long as he can regain enough plasma relay to the direct-forward thrust motive drive reverse-polarity indicators...whilst keeping the fusion reverse solar flux ebbing at non-critical levels... Only then would your maneuver work. Please do not mis-quote Star Trek science in future Lord_La_Forge. http://www.jahled.co.uk/smallmonkeywars.gif

AdmiralFishface
For me, it doesn't matter what I'm making fun of. Star Trek, Star Wars, B5, whatever. If I make jokes about it, that means I like it. If I like it, that means I make jokes about it (or where do you think my nickname came from?...) I like Trek, but I see it is stupid. Â And no, I've never seen a Trekkie make fun of a Star Wars fan. Don't know why. Â And after I've read the Last fifteen minutes of ROTJ thread, I know there's not much of a difference between ST and SW discussions. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/RiesstiuIV/Krempel/trapaure.gif
