Y-wing

From Star Wars: Rebellion Wiki Original 1.02

Y-wing is an Alliance starfighter in Star Wars: Rebellion. The in-game encyclopedia describes the older, twin-engine Y-wing as still seeing a lot of action in the Alliance fleet. It mounts a turreted laser cannon and an ion cannon, and has heavier armor. This makes it a good choice for heavy assault missions.

In the game

Each Y-wing squadron costs 5 refined material to build and 4 to maintain. It has a hyperdrive and a shield strength of 5.

The infobox values come from the game's data file. Movement ratings are internal numbers that the manual does not explain, so they are best used to compare fighters.

The manual separately warns not to confuse Longprobe Y-wing Recon Teams, a special forces unit, with Y-wing fighters, which are a type of ship.
