TIE Defender

From Star Wars: Rebellion Wiki Original 1.02

TIE Defender is an Imperial starfighter in Star Wars: Rebellion. The in-game encyclopedia says it departs from the usual Imperial fighter design. It is one of the few production fighters with both a shield generator and a hyperdrive. Its automatic laser cannons can engage several enemies at once. Maneuvering thrusters in its three oddly shaped solar panels give it handling close to the TIE Interceptor and A-wing. The text calls it a dangerous opponent for all Alliance fighters.

Each TIE Defender squadron costs 5 refined material to build and 7 to maintain. It has a hyperdrive and a shield strength of 5.
