The Victory II Star Destroyer is a Victory II-class Star Destroyer built by Kuat Drive Yards, an improved version of the Victory I used by the Galactic Empire.

Developed from the earlier Victory I-class, this Star Destroyer was refined to fight better. By ABY 0 it had a noticeable place in the Imperial fleet. It was set apart by upgraded ion engines and stronger armament, including better turbolaser batteries and ion cannons. Intended to be quicker and more adaptable than the ship it replaced, it could fight both in space and within atmospheres, giving the Galactic Empire a more flexible answer to varied military needs. After the Death Star was destroyed, Victory II-class ships helped enforce Imperial rule and fight Rebel forces, showing the Empire's continued work to improve its navy.
