Victory I Star Destroyer

The Victory I Star Destroyer is a Victory I-class Star Destroyer built by Kuat Drive Yards, a warship designed in the last years of the Republic and later used by the Galactic Empire.

History

Designed in the closing years of the Galactic Republic, these Star Destroyers went on to become a core component of the Imperial Navy. The Victory I-class carried turbolasers and concussion missile launchers, which made it a serious danger in many battles. Because it could besiege planets as well as fight in space, the Galactic Empire used it to keep a strong presence in many sectors. After the Death Star was destroyed, Victory I-class ships went on enforcing Imperial dominance and joined major operations against the Rebel Alliance and other insurgents, reflecting the Empire's reliance on overwhelming force.

In the game

The patch gives the slot a new name and identity but keeps its stats: a field-by-field comparison with the original game data finds no differences. Everything in the Victory Destroyer article's stats applies here too.
