Corellian Gunship

Corellian Gunship is an Alliance capital ship in Star Wars: Rebellion. The in-game encyclopedia says the Corellian Gunship was designed to be fast and deadly. Engines take up over half of its interior. Its outer hull carries many turbolaser batteries and quad laser cannons, which make it a good anti-starfighter platform.

The Corellian Gunship is the DP20 frigate, a fast, hard-hitting combat vessel built by the Corellian Engineering Corporation and flown mainly by the Rebel Alliance.

Built for quick, aggressive fighting, these frigates took part in many actions of the Galactic Civil War. The Rebel Alliance especially prized them for their speed and weapons. They could take on bigger Imperial vessels and give needed support during fleet actions, so DP20s frequently found themselves in the thick of skirmishes. Because they excelled at hit-and-run attacks and fought above their size, they were favored for missions that called for agility and fighting ability. Once the Death Star had been destroyed, DP20 frigates remained important in the continuing war against the Empire.
