Alliance Escort Carrier is an Alliance capital ship in Star Wars: Rebellion. The in-game encyclopedia says Alliance escort carriers do the same job as their Imperial counterparts. They carry and refuel wings of starfighters, which greatly increases the number of fighters a fleet can field. Their shielding is better than that of the Imperial models, but their firepower is fairly weak.

The Alliance Escort Carrier costs 32 refined material to build and 29 to maintain. It has a fighter capacity of 6 and a troop capacity of 0. Its shield strength is 200.

The Alliance Escort Carrier is a Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carrier originally built by Sienar Fleet Systems and converted by the Rebel Alliance to launch and support starfighters.

The Rebel Alliance took the Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carrier and put it to new use. Starfighter squadron launch and support became its main job. Turning ships once used for commercial cargo into warships typified Rebel ingenuity. After the Death Star was destroyed, these carriers expanded what the fleet could do and supplied important fighter cover in many fights against the Galactic Empire. They also gave the Alliance a mobile presence and the means to strike at range, which suited its hit-and-run style of fighting against the far larger Imperial Navy.
