Zygerria
Zygerria is a dry, temperate world of plains, mesas and rocky highlands, home to the native Zygerrians. Its economy has been based on trade in sentient beings, namely slaves.
Zygerria is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Nentan.
History
Zygerria's history is still shaped by its once-flourishing slave trade. Imperial action had damaged the Zygerrian Slave Empire's operations, but slavery went on in a reduced form. The cruel and cunning Zygerrians kept navigating the changing galaxy, seizing openings and gaining from the turmoil. As the Rebels battled the Empire, Zygerria stayed fairly sheltered from the war and worked to win back its old strength and clout. Whatever the Rebellion and Empire tried, the Zygerrians' resilience let them adjust and endure through the disorder.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Tingel Arm sector; the original game calls it the Glythe sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
