Zonama Sekot

Zonama Sekot is a temperate living planet of rainforests, mountains, rivers, small oceans and modest polar ice caps, with tampasi growing there, home to Yuuzhan Vong, Ferroan, Langhesi and humans.

Zonama Sekot is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Thrakia.

History

Zonama Sekot, a mysterious living planet with its own organic technology, kept its secretive character. Still able to travel through space, it went on avoiding discovery and unwelcome notice. The conscious world dealt only with those who shared its outlook and honored the Force. It stayed distant from the war between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire, and its strong defenses and reticence let it keep its independence while the rest of the galaxy sank into upheaval.

In the game

In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Unknown Regions sector; the original game calls it the Quelli sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
