Ziost

From Star Wars: Rebellion Wiki 25th Anniversary patch

Ziost is a cold, arid planet of mountains, glaciers, tundra and forests, populated by Herglic, Humans, Monoliths and Sith, and long associated with ancient Sith power.

Ziost is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Linuri.

History

Ziost stayed mostly barren and empty, marked by its dark past as an old seat of Sith power. The Sith Empire no longer held it, yet leftover dark energy kept drawing people after forbidden lore or fascinated by the dark side. As the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire fought, both took notice of the planet's history and watched for any revival of Sith influence. Its distance and unwelcoming conditions, though, discouraged most of the galaxy's people from going there.

In the game

In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Sith Worlds sector; the original game calls it the Sumitra sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
