Tund (25th Anniversary patch)
Tund is a radioactive world of wastelands, home to the native Toong and to Sith. Its harsh surface and remoteness have left it isolated from the rest of the galaxy.
Tund is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Kinyen.
History
Tund remains a mysterious world. Long ago it was the fortress of an old order of sorcerers, and its isolation sheltered it from the early effects of the galactic war. The reclusive inhabitants and their secretive practices let them keep their customs and ways of living, mostly undisturbed by the galaxy's upheavals. The events around the Death Star only strengthened Tund's isolationism, as its people kept working to preserve their heritage and culture through an uncertain age.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Outer Rim East sector; the original game calls it the Farfin sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
