Trask
Trask is a small, ocean-covered moon in Wild Space populated by Humans, Mon Calamari, Quarren and a frog-like anthropoid people, with no listed economic output.
Trask is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Neelgaimon.
History
Trask moon enjoyed relative stability because the surrounding war mostly passed it by. A small, secluded moon, it attracted little notice from the major factions and kept its modest, quiet routine. While fighting continued elsewhere, it stayed a remote outpost that drew people looking for shelter from the growing disorder. It played no major part in the wider contest between the galaxy's powers, and its residents were able to hold on to their customs and traditions through the upheaval.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Wild Space sector; the original game calls it the Xappyh sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
