Talus (25th Anniversary patch)
Talus is a temperate world of forests, mountains, grassy plains, mud flats and seas. A mix of species lives there, including Humans, Selonians and Drall, and the economy deals in high technology, medicinal goods, food, metals and minerals.
Talus is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Palanhi.
History
Talus is a calm, quiet planet noted for scenic landscapes and varied wildlife. It lies in the Corellian system, sharing an orbit with its sister world Tralus. Its people, both natives and settlers from elsewhere, live together peacefully and concentrate on farming and eco-tourism. The war between the Empire and the Rebel Alliance largely passes it by, and the society stays self-reliant and cooperative. Travelers from across the galaxy come for its peaceful setting and natural beauty.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Core Worlds South sector; the original game calls it the Fakir sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
