Skako Minor
Skako Minor is a temperate world of canyons, caverns, craters, fungal forests and mountains, home to the native Poletec and the Skakoan, and long associated with the Techno Union.
Skako Minor is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Bortras.
History
Skako Minor remained the home base of the Techno Union, a group noted for its engineering and manufacturing ability. The Union lost influence once the Clone Wars ended, yet the world's skilled labor stayed sought after. The planet kept a measure of independence and was sheltered from the war between the Empire and the Rebel Alliance. Its people carried on refining their technology, and their seclusion helped them keep their separate customs and culture in relative calm.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Core Worlds North sector; the original game calls it the Sesswenna sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
