Shadda-Bi-Boran
Shadda-Bi-Boran is a world of plains and swamps in the Mid Rim South, home to its native Shadda-Bi-Boran people, whose economy is built around the production of textiles.
Shadda-Bi-Boran is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Abregado.
History
Shadda-Bi-Boran stayed out of the spotlight and was untouched by the larger war. Even after the first Death Star was destroyed, the local people felt no direct effect and kept to their long-standing customs. Because the planet was distant and of little strategic worth, neither the Empire nor the Rebel Alliance paid it attention, so it never became a battlefield or an objective. Its inhabitants lived on in relative calm while turmoil spread elsewhere in the galaxy.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Mid Rim South sector; the original game calls it the Abrion sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
