Saleucami

Saleucami is an arid and temperate world of deserts, swamps, mountains, caves and volcanoes. Humans are native, alongside Gotal, Gran, Rodians, Twi'leks and Weequay, and the economy supplies food, raw materials, botanicals, medicines and technology.

Saleucami is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Byss.

History

Saleucami is passing through a major transition. It was earlier a battleground of the Clone Wars, where the Galactic Republic fought Separatist forces. Once the Republic became the Galactic Empire, the planet kept its strategic value. After the destruction of the Death Star, opposition to the Empire grew, and Saleucami turned into a haven for rebels on the run and other resisters. Its residents, among them many displaced settlers, tried to rebuild their lives during the continuing struggle for power.

In the game

In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Outer Rim East sector; the original game calls it the Farfin sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
