Raxus
Raxus is a temperate world of forests, hills, oceans and plains with a varied population. Its capital city is known for beautiful architecture and lush gardens.
Raxus is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Yag'Dhul.
History
Raxus remains a powerful, influential world with a long political history. Formerly capital of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, it was subdued by the Empire, which stationed a large military force to hold it. Imperial-aligned officials replaced its leaders, and the population lived under strict surveillance and controls. Despite this iron rule, dissent simmered below the surface and whispers of rebellion spread among the people. The capital's lovely architecture and lush gardens concealed the unrest and conflict that persisted.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Tingel Arm sector; the original game calls it the Glythe sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
