Onderon

Onderon is a temperate world of jungle and urban sprawl, inhabited by Bivali, Humans, Ithorians, Togruta and Twi'lek. Its economy is built on high technology and the manufacture of weapons.

Onderon is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Kabal.

History

Onderon goes through a time of upheaval. Its population had long been split between Iziz, a technologically advanced city, and the independent tribes living in the wilds around it. Once the Death Star was destroyed, anti-Imperial feeling grew within the planet's politics, and the Rebel Alliance found supporters among its people, nurturing a spirit of resistance. Even amid the unrest, scholars and adventurers stayed drawn to Onderon's deep past as an ancient Sith stronghold.

In the game

In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Crossroads sector; the original game calls it the Mayagil sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
