Mustafar
Mustafar is a hot volcanic world of lava seas, molten plains, obsidian mountains, caves and forests, home to native Mustafarians, Alazmec, Falleen and Humans, with water, dolovite, minerals and metal ore as resources.
Mustafar is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Womrik.
History
Mustafar still stands for the dark side of the Force. It is where Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker fought their fateful duel, a place of great suffering. When the Galactic Empire fell, the mining that had driven its economy declined and its notoriety faded. People intent on grasping or using the dark side still showed interest in it, since its lava-covered surface was thought to hide secrets and artifacts from a dark past.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Outer Rim South sector; the original game calls it the Dufilvan sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
