Mortis
Mortis is an otherworldly realm in the Outer Rim North, with floating mountains, lush forests and molten caverns, inhabited only by Force-wielders and lacking any economy.
Mortis is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Tibrin.
History
Mortis, a mysterious and ethereal realm, stayed hidden from most of the galaxy. It lay beyond ordinary ideas of space and time, and only a handful of beings knew of it. Three powerful Force-wielders lived there, each embodying a separate side of the Force, known as the Father, the Son and the Daughter. Their effect on the wider war was slight, and very few were aware they existed. After the first Death Star was destroyed, Mortis endured as an elusive and enigmatic presence whose importance remained known to a select few.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Outer Rim North sector; the original game calls it the Atrivis sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
