Mon Gazza
Mon Gazza is a Wild Space planet of mountains and decaying urban areas, populated by Humans, whose economy is based on spice, and known also for podracing and mining.
Mon Gazza is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Thanta Zilbra.
History
Mon Gazza kept its prominence as a centre for podracing and mining. As the Empire met with reverses, residents concentrated on daily life and an economy powered chiefly by podraces and the extraction of valuable resources. Podracing was not directly disturbed by the wider galactic war, and locals kept enjoying the sport. The planet was not at the front line of the fight against the Empire, but its people stayed aware of the shifting situation and adapted as needed.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Wild Space sector; the original game calls it the Xappyh sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
