Lutrillia is a hot, remote world of barren plains and oases, home to the native Lutrillians. Its economy exports drive equipment and ochroid dust.

Lutrillia is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Vodran.

History

Lutrillia was largely spared by the wider galactic war. The distant, thinly settled planet remained a gathering point for independent miners and traders after the resources in its extensive cave systems. Considered strategically unimportant, it escaped the attention of the great powers, so residents kept their lifestyle. Its seclusion also appealed to fugitives and others wanting to avoid scrutiny. In these years the people of Lutrillia concentrated on extracting resources and trading to make a living.

In the game

In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Western Reaches sector; the original game calls it the Kanchen sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
