Kef Bir
Kef Bir is a moon of grassy islands and open ocean, inhabited by Humans. It lies far from the main galactic powers and remains little explored by the wider galaxy.
Kef Bir is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Allyuen.
History
Kef Bir stayed distant and mostly unexplored. Because of its seclusion it took no important part in recent events. Its obscurity kept the major galactic powers away, so its natural surroundings flourished with little interference. Little known to most of the galaxy, its past stayed hidden, its real importance a quiet mystery. While the Galactic Civil War continued, the moon kept away from the fighting, its story awaiting discovery by later explorers.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Outer Rim West sector; the original game calls it the Churba sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
