Kabal (25th Anniversary patch)
Kabal is an ocean world dotted with large forested islands, inhabited by Houk, Humans, Krish and Squibs, and mostly devoted to farming across wide fields and scenic landscapes.
Kabal is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Gamorr.
History
Kabal stays chiefly a farming world, noted for broad fields and scenic countryside. Through the Galactic Civil War its people kept their way of life by focusing on working the land. Though the fight between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance was always close, Kabal avoided turning into a major battlefield. Locals held to their farming work, so food and other resources kept flowing for themselves and others. Amid wartime turmoil, the planet remained a stable and productive refuge.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Outer Rim South sector; the original game calls it the Dufilvan sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
