Jedha
Jedha is an arid desert moon of mesas, a ruptured mantle and magma seas, inhabited by Anomids, Humans, Lorrdians and Vobati. It supplies kyber crystals and draws pilgrims, and also provides food, water and medicine.
Jedha is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Drall.
History
Jedha, once a spiritually important world, underwent deep change. With the Imperial hold weakening, the population labored to recover from the devastation the Empire had caused. Its strong tie to the Force, and its past as a pilgrimage site for the Jedi and other Force-sensitive visitors, lived on in the memories of the inhabitants. Despite the damage the Empire left, the people continued, trying to protect their culture and spiritual legacy despite hardship. Through the galactic conflict, Jedha survived as an emblem of resilience and faith.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Deep Core sector; the original game calls it the Corellian sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
