Farstine
Farstine is a planet in the Mid Rim South with a methane atmosphere, for which no native species or economic activity is recorded, though its surface is described as green.
Farstine is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Intuci.
History
Farstine, renowned for its green landscapes and clear oceans, became a symbol of hope and unity. Assorted factions and resistance groups from every corner of the galaxy set up bases on its surface, looking for shelter and partners. The local people welcomed the arrivals and took pride in being a stronghold against a tyrannical government. As time passed, the mix of groups added to Farstine's culture and technical progress and sped up innovation. While the war against the Empire went on, the world turned into a vital center for communication, coordination and strategic planning, opening a new chapter in its history.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Mid Rim South sector; the original game calls it the Abrion sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
