Earth

From Star Wars: Rebellion Wiki 25th Anniversary patch

Earth is a planet of oceans and landmasses inhabited by native Humans. Its economy is based on tourism, and it is known mainly as a destination reached through an interstellar travel line.

Earth is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Endor.

History

Earth was linked by the Star Tours spaceline to other worlds, among them Coruscant, Kashyyyk, Naboo, Hoth, Geonosis and Tatooine. It also served as a hub for flights to Endor until Star Tours was closed down. Some called it Urthha. The planet was divided into several nation-states, and the Intergalactic Passport could not be used as a planetary passport for any of them.

In the game

In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Mid Rim North sector; the original game calls it the Moddell sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
