Dromund Kaas is a wet world of swamps, jungle and oceans, wracked by electrical storms and populated by Sith and Humans, long concealed from the rest of the galaxy.

Dromund Kaas is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Qat Chrystac.

History

Dromund Kaas became an important Imperial stronghold. Previously the galaxy knew nothing of the planet, which violent Force storms kept concealed. Its position was guarded closely, and only the most senior Imperial figures were aware of it.

In the game

In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Sith Worlds sector; the original game calls it the Sumitra sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
