D'Qar

From Star Wars: Rebellion Wiki 25th Anniversary patch

D'Qar is a temperate planet of jungle, plains and forest canopies in the Mid Rim South, with no recorded inhabitants or economy, though ruins from a vanished civilization remain.

D'Qar is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Galpos II.

History

D'Qar had been largely spared the effects of events across the galaxy until this time. A civilization once lived there, but it disappeared and left ruins behind. The planet also functioned as a hidden world, and a remote deep space supply cache serving the Alliance to Restore the Republic.

In the game

In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Mid Rim South sector; the original game calls it the Abrion sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
