Denon

From Star Wars: Rebellion Wiki 25th Anniversary patch

Denon is a temperate, heavily urbanized planet native to humans and the Rakata, with sprawling cities and busy spaceports that make it a major center of trade.

Denon is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Orto.

History

Denon, famed for its vast cities and crowded spaceports, remained a lively center of trade and commerce. Its strategic position and big population also made it attractive to criminal syndicates, some of which set up headquarters there, causing crime and corruption to grow. Even so, the planet stayed a significant crossroads for travel between star systems and for commerce, drawing visitors and investors from throughout the galaxy.

In the game

In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Inner Rim sector; the original game calls it the Sluis sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
