Dagobah

Dagobah is a hot, humid world of bayous, swamps, bogs, jungles and dry uplands, inhabited by the native Tash as well as Yoda's species, and has no developed economy.

Dagobah is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Ord Mantell.

History

Dagobah became an important refuge for the Jedi Master Yoda. The distant world, with thick swamps and hazardous terrain, made an ideal hiding place for him, as he sought solitude to protect himself and what remained of his order. The planet's strong natural link to the Force lets Jedi develop their abilities. Dagobah stays secluded and uncharted, its green landscapes and Force-sensitive ecosystems mostly undisturbed by larger galactic events.

In the game

In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Outer Rim South sector; the original game calls it the Dufilvan sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
