Christophsis
Christophsis is a Wild Space planet dominated by crystalline formations and inhabited by Humans, Kerkoiden and Rodians, with an economy that revolves around kyber crystals.
Christophsis is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Ambria.
History
Christophsis went through political change. It had been held by the Confederacy of Independent Systems in the Clone Wars, then enjoyed a short peace before the Galactic Empire took it over. When the Empire fell into confusion after the Death Star was lost, the world grasped the chance to regain its independence. It has started to rebuild, slowly restoring its damaged crystal cities while the inhabitants worked on stronger defenses against future danger. Diplomatic overtures sought alliances with other systems. Christophsis has emerged as a resilient, hopeful stronghold set on keeping its freedom and shielding its people from outsiders.
In the game
In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Wild Space sector; the original game calls it the Xappyh sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
