Cantonica is a star system in the 25th Anniversary patch 3.0.9770. It takes the slot that the original game gives to Vortex.

History

Cantonica, famed for its luxurious city Canto Bight, sees a marked rise in activity. A magnet for the wealthy and powerful, it prospers from war profiteers and others fleeing the turmoil. Its casinos, racetracks and lavish resorts grow at an unprecedented pace to serve elite clients. The gap between rich visitors and locals widens, bringing more crime and exploitation. Cantonica's fate stays tied to the shifting balance of power across the galaxy.

In the game

In the patch's default ("compatible") galaxy the system keeps its slot's sector and map position. The patch calls its sector the Tingel Arm sector; the original game calls it the Glythe sector. The patch also has an optional "accurate" galaxy that changes map positions only.
